LAURA ANNE ANDERSON
Laura began her career in film at an early age, when she and her brother would create sci-fi epics on their grandparent's video camera.
For reasons she can no longer fathom, she undertook a Mathematics degree at University. It wasn't until a few years later that she plucked the courage to pursue her childhood fantasies, when a nightclass in Screenwriting took her fancy.
After that class, Laura began to pursue writing and film studies with a passion. She undertook the Screenwriting Masters at the Screen Academy Scotland, graduating in 2007. She has several short films in production with other companies, and she was a finalist in the Red Planet prize 2007. As well as writing screenplays, books and short stories, she works as a Script Reader, Script Editor and Copywriter, and was employed by the Screen Academy as a Script Development Workshop leader in 2008.
Laura also works as an online filmmaker, producing, directing, filming and editing factual shorts for a variety of companies. She is an avid photographer, and loves to see her work on screen.
